By way of Taskforce chaired by Lisa Sullivan and Cheryl Terpening, MLSSAZ revised the following Listing Agreement HERE to enhance protections to the offer of compensation, reduce liability, and provide a comprehensive easy to read listing contract. A summary of the most significant changes includes a conditional cancellation option for the listing firm, offer disclosure authorization, and revised language to the compensation for the sale of the premises section. Please see the following link for a detailed list of revisions HERE. The revised Standard Listing Agreement is effective immediately.
In response to feedback about member confusion around adding or modifying contingencies, Flexmls will be updating the “Add/Remove Contingency” option on the Change Listing screen to display dynamically. If a listing is not currently contingent, the member will see an option to “Add Contingency,” and if there is a contingency to change or remove, the Change Listings screen will display “Modify/Remove Contingency.”
